Address Changes

It is the responsibility of the Child Support recipient to notify the Circuit Clerk's Office of any change in your address. The Circuit Clerk's Office must be notified of your address change whether you receive your payments through the State Disbursement Unit (SDU) or through the Circuit Clerk's Office. The Circuit Clerk will notify the SDU of your new address. If a Child Support recipient received Public Aid, ONLY the Illinois Department of Public Aid can change the address to which your child support check is sent. Please notify Public Aid as well of your new address if you receive public aid.
